  With qualifying over and the top contenders picked it was time to get the 2012 British Drift Championship season started. With three classes and three Top 16 brackets the Teesside crowd were in for an awesome show....

  EVENT: 2012 British Drift Championship: Round One: Qualifying

  Off season. Those two words conjure up a bleak picture for any hardcore drift fan. Don't get us wrong, the respite is gratefully received, and sure, the excitement of 'build threads' is great, but here at Drifted we're drift fans through and through. We need our fix and we've just emerged from the other side of months of going cold turkey. The 2012 British Drift Championship is finally upon us, and it looks set to be a good one….

  EVENT: Nissan Fest 2012

  The annual Nissan Fest has grown year upon year and had outgrown it's previous venue. Insert Evergreen Speedway, home to drifters around the Northwest and the birthing grounds of many now Formula Drift licensed pro drivers. More after the jump....

  EVENT: Formula DRIFT Round 1 Streets of Long Beach

  It's felt like a long time coming but the 2012 Formula Drift season finally arrived at Long Beach, California. The weather was gorgeous, the crowds pumped and the streets of LBC were soon resonating with that sound that we've all missed so much. Drifting is back!

  Round 5 of the Cody’s D1NZ National Drifting Championship was surrounded with hype and excitement as the series returned to Whangarei after a 2 year hiatus. Located in Northland, Whangarei is arguably the birthplace of drifting here in New Zealand and a place many of the drivers call home. This combined with an up close and personal street track meant it was no surprise that fans turned up in the thousands!

  Arriving in Auckland on Friday for Round 4 of D1NZ, we were treated to an awesome day of drifting under the sun. This round is crucial for the competitors as the smaller track and tight walls can quickly snatch away valuable championship points. More after the jump....

  For three years the Nürburgring has played host to the European Drift Championship the first weekend in October. The expectations for this years edition were big, already a week before, the weather forecast told us that the whole weekend will be sunny and dry, it couldn´t start any better.

For one weekend only, the British Drift Championship was in town.

  ProAm round 5 and Grassroots round 4 was hosted at Evergreen Speedway this past month, deciding who would be moving on next year and also the awarding of Formula Drift licenses. The game has changed in Washington and next year should be amazing as we here watch our fellow drifters on their pursuit to the pro life.

  XDC was new to me and had no idea what to expect. The fancy fliers promoted cars and girls, and that was enough to get any guy to attend. It was a combination drift event and car show, both being hosted on track and the more popular than ever Pacific Grand Prix Motorsports Park.
